Have you ever been to a website with a section or pop up that asks for your email address and later sends you periodic promotional emails? One of the nice things about these tools is that most allow you to schedule campaigns in advance. Here are a few tips:
- Entice people to sign up to your mailing list by offering something (i.e. coupon code, free download, etc.)
- Preplan when emails will be sent (i.e. monthly/quarterly/etc., holidays, promotions, conditional, etc.) and send out on a consistent basis. But be careful not to send too often that may cause people to unsubscribe.
- Make dedicated landing pages with a sign up form that you can link to social media posts or ads
